Data rules · version 1 · 18 October 2026
We only publish checked data
Where possible, two sources confirm each item. Where not, we say clearly where it comes from. Every item has a source and a date.
Where the data comes from
- The clinic itself: its website, imprint, privacy notice and price list; later also its direct confirmation.
- Official registers: court register, Croatian Health Insurance Fund, Croatian Dental Chamber.
- Open data: OpenStreetMap, to find clinics and their websites (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence).
- Helper sources: AI answers, portals and directories. Only used to find a clinic, never as the source of published data.
- Never: Google ratings and reviews, data behind a login, websites that forbid automated reading.
Three levels for every item
| Level | When | Published |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Two independent sources agree, or the clinic has confirmed the item. | Yes |
| According to the clinic's website | Only the clinic's website, but the same item on at least two of its pages; or data only the clinic knows (prices, services, languages). | Yes, with source and date |
| Unverified | Only a helper source, only one page, or sources contradict each other. | No. It stays in the archive as a trace. |
What we publish and how
- Name, address, phone and website: at least the same on two pages of the clinic's own website.
- Prices: only those published on the clinic's website, with link and date. We publish statistics only for groups of at least 5 clinics.
- Conflicting sources: we don't publish the item until it is resolved.
- Freshness: prices weekly, contacts monthly, anything older than 90 days is checked again.
- For now the register only includes legal entities. We publish no patient data, and doctors' names only with the clinic's confirmation.
We correct wrong data and remove data at a clinic's request, free of charge and within 7 days: [email protected]. Every correction and removal is logged.
We identify ourselves by name (DentavistaBot), respect robots.txt and text-and-data-mining opt-outs, and contact each domain at most once every two seconds.
